    Faces of The Village

    Michael Newman.

    Michael and his late wife Ann moved into their home in Boxted in 1962 as a newly married couple. Michael worked as a diesel engineer at Paxmans following an apprenticeship with the firm. He has always enjoyed ‘making stuff’ (his grand-daughter’s words) in his workshop at home. The key pictured above was welcome replacement replica key for Boxted Church. Michael is currently caretaker of the village hall.
