    BOXTED VILLAGE HALL

    Boxted Parish Council took over responsibility for managing and running Boxted Village Hall on 1st August 2017, as Trustees of the Boxted Village Hall Charity Regd. No. 301258.

    The parish council is utilising the services of the Community Halls In Partnership Project (CHIP) http://www.hythecommunitycentre.org.uk/trustees-a-staff with some of the responsibilities for the administration of the hall.

    11 am HC service at Boxted Methodist Church with Rev Ken Chalmers.

    A refurbished plaque on the Hurlock Schoolroom In the corner of St Mary’s churchyard. The schoolroom was built in 1832 by Dr Hurlock, the rector, to serve as a girls’ school on week-days and a resting place for the old and poor between church services on Sundays.

    The Hurlock room has recently had its roof repaired and re-tiled.

    Boxted Methodist Silver Band Service

    Sunday 3 September at Boxted Village Hall starting at 3pm. Outside if good weather or inside if wet. Come and join us for a selection of favourite hymns and music with a maritime theme.
