A Medieval Christmas takes you on a musical journey from the onset of winter through Christmas and into the hope of the new year to come. The Medieval and Renaissance music that accompanies this journey comes mainly from England with a sprinkling of pieces from further across Europe. Interspersed with readings related to the experience of winter and the Nativity, Christmas celebrations and old traditions, Hexachordia captures in music and words the joy that is to be found at this time of the year.

    Boxted Runners

This is a voluntary running group currently meeting every Thursday morning at 9:15am outside Boxted Village Hall. The club is open to everyone so all abilities are more than welcome! Vanessa Dolling started the group in June this year and numbers have grown week on week. The group is in the process of adding more sessions which will include evenings and weekends so it can continue to cater for all. The club was set up for the residents of Boxted community and surrounding areas and it currently has 37 members who come along when they can, usually around 15 runners each session! The group recently took part in the Langham 10k (Photo) where for most runners this was the longest distance they had ever run! It is a friendly, motivational group and welcomes all to come along and enjoy some healthy running fun!
