    Will we miss the bus?

Boxted lost two very useful buses on 31st January 2018 We’ve bashed our head against the holders of the purse strings without being able to persuade them not to cut the 8.00a.m. to town and the 5.40p.m. return. services. It looks as though if we want a bus we’ve got to help ourselves by coming up with ideas to defeat this short-sighted budgeting. The point is, do we want a bus? If the Parish Council is going to see what might be done to get a bus we need to know what villagers think. If we do nothing the village (that means the villagers) become isolated because people will not be able to get to school, work, medical appointments, child care commitments and social engagements. As for a bus into town in the evening, how good would that be?
Apart from the basic question of whether you would use a bus, we’d love to hear of any genius ideas you might have for helping the village to improve its links with our neighbours.

We need to know what you think. Yes or No, a bus would be a good thing or not? Please take a few minutes to telephone/email with a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the question ‘Would you or your family use these buses if we could achieve it?
