    Faces of The Village

Jasmine Pearl, who is running the London Marathon on 23 April.

Jasmine has lived in Boxted all her life, and is the third generation to live in the family home. Jasmine attended Boxted Primary School and East Bergholt High School before studying A-Levels at Colchester Sixth Form College and she now works at a local private hospital as a Finance Administrator. She was a member of Boxted Methodist Silver Band where she had great fun and can remember spending cold evenings playing carols round the village at Christmas.

On Sunday 23 April 2017 she will be running the Virgin Money London Marathon for The National Autistic Society.

Jasmine’s younger cousin is autistic and his family struggled to get the support they needed until they discovered the society.

Before signing up to run the London Marathon Jasmine was the first to say she hated running and certainly did not see how running could ever be enjoyable! A lot has changed in just a few months- running isn’t so bad (she might not be saying that on Sunday 23 April) in fact it’s often a welcome break from day to day life.

Jasmine would greatly appreciate any support in helping her to reach her target of £2500. Please visit her Virgin Money Giving page to make a donation.
