The Essex Shed Network needs your help

The Essex Shed Network is an organisation which exists to help communities start and run their own Shed projects. Sheds are community spaces where men 18 years plus can socialise, work on practical projects and learn new skills together. The Shedders could be making toys for craft fairs, planters for civic buildings or even restoring village signs.
Crucially it’s not all about the wood or metal working- it’s just as much about the company; the morning ritual of tea and biscuits and banter, the sharing of stories as well as skills. Sheds are places which help to ease loneliness and isolation amongst men (an often overlooked issue in society).
Since the first Shed opened in Maldon (2014) the Essex Shed Network has grown to 10 active Sheds with another 10 in development. And now we have found a potential Shed site on Hill Farm (located between Boxted and Langham) so we need your help to get it off the ground and make it a success. It won’t be easy-there is a lot of work to be done to convert the barn into a working Shed- but Shedders have done it before, so we know they can do it again!
If this is something you would like to be a part of then please get in touch – esn 01621 851891 and ask for Gary.
