St Peter’s Churchyard Working Group
Saturday 25 November, 10 am – 1 pm
Over the last 18 months a group of volunteers have participated in a working group in St Peter’s Churchyard. The objectives are firstly to clear away much of the overgrown bushes and vegetation and secondly to establish new wildlife friendly hedges and a number of designated wildflower areas.
Last winter we planted a hundred metres of new hedging made up of 15 different native species. The working group meet on occasional Saturday mornings the next session being on Saturday 25th November.
More volunteers are very welcome and if you fancy a morning in the open air with other likeminded companions Refreshments and tools provided) please contact Stephen Whybrow on 07801749575 for more details.

Boxted Methodist Silver Band
Dates in December:
- Saturday 2 December at 6 pm Advent Concert at St Mary’s Church, Stoke By Nayland. No entry cost but donations welcomed on leaving.
- Sunday 3 December at 3pm in Boxted Village Hall playing carols with audience participation and Christmas music to enjoy.
- Saturday 10 December at Fillpots from 10 then at Fred Smiths
- Tuesday 12 December at Windmill Close, Mill Road and Newman Drive
- Wednesday 13 December Church Street
- Thursday 21st Hill Farm Way and The Cross

Over 500 plants are for sale in aid of Langham with Boxted Church Funds. Most plants are £1.50 to £3.50 with quantity discounts.
