Operation Christmas Child

Various drop off dates and times are in the latest copy of St Mary and St Peter’s Churches Newsletter. A packing party will take place at St Peter’s Boxted on Sunday 21 November and all are welcome to join in. Boxes can also be packed online at:  https://shoeboxonline.samaritans-purse.org.uk

Save our bridge update

Eight months later still waiting for amended bridge drawings

THE BRIDGE IS WIDE ENOUGH. NO HGVS! We are still waiting for Essex Highways’ amended drawings of their proposed widened bridge. Two important reports, Boxted Bridge Heritage Assessment by Place Services and an independent assessment report on the bridge by Cleveland Bridge UK, both commissioned by Essex County Council are being ignored by Highways.

The Art and Craft Club has restarted, meeting once a month on the third Wednesday of each month, 2-4pm at Boxted Village Hall. All welcome – come and join in!

The Zone for 6-11 year olds 5.30pm-7pm and the Edge for 12-18 year olds 7.30pm-9.00pm. Fortnightly during term time. Contact Dominic Sheil 01206 273324
