Faces of The Village
Tim was asked recently if he would consider taking on the role of editor of the monthly newsletter published by the village churches. This is a valued newsletter which is delivered to every home in Boxted and Langham. Tim kindly agreed to do a six month stint until next April.
Another role he has volunteered for is organising Operation Christmas Child often referred to as Shoebox Sunday.
Tim has a passion for this cause and remembers volunteering in his teens with his Mother at a local distribution centre. He has roped in his parents to help again this year when, on a volunteer day granted by Tim’s employers, the three of them will be collecting and delivering the village boxes to the distribution centre in Ipswich.
Tim and his young family live in Colchester. Tim and his wife were married at Langham Church ten years ago, have had both their children baptised there and now play an active role in the church work.
