This will be at Boxted Playing Field car park on Saturday 4 August from 11 am to 12 noon.

For larger items of household rubbish.
no fridges or freezers;

Please bring green garden waste separately to be composted;

This service is provided for small loads and from domestic properties, so you can use this service to dispose of bulky items not normally collected with household waste;

No commercial refuse or hazardous waste such as asbestos, batteries, liquids, gas bottles;

No large loads please.

No electrical goods

No items which can be recycled through kerbside collections

9 – 10 July

Suspects unknown have gained entry to building site by lifting the fence panels. Once in the site have caused damage to an orange kubota 8 ton excavator by putting dirt from the site down the dipstick tube and into the oil filler and the oil reservoir. Damage as also been caused to a yellow and grey terex ta6s front dumper which has had the rear light pulled out and twigs and other items stuffed into the holes where the rear light have been pulled out and dirt has also been put into the engine.

A padlock was broken on an outbuilding and various valuable tools taken.

Anyone seeing anything suspicious please phone the police on 101

Please take care with bonfires during this very dry spell.There is lots of stubble & crops still in the fields. There was a big field fire in Stratford St Mary this week. Best thing is to delay bonfires until after we’ve had some decent rain… or save for Nov 5th?
