The naturalised hawthorn hedging along Straight Road, Langham Road and Horkesley Road is a legacy of the area when it was heathland.

This, together with the naturalised towering oak trees mingled with it, characterises the southern part of the village.

The larger van has problems parking and manouevering on the car park. Could people please avoid parking on the 3 central spaces if possible.

Plea for Plants!

Boxted School Association welcomes any plant donations for the plant stall at ourSummer Fête,

Friday 22 June from 3.15 pm at Boxted St. Peter’s Primary School.

Last year we had a great response from local residents and we hope you will be able to support us again.
Please leave any donations outside the school reception area on any of the following Friday mornings:

All funds raised will benefit the children of Boxted St. Peter’s.

Household Items Drop Off Service

Saturday 9 June at the Playing Field Car Park 11am – 12 noon.

For extra domestic collections of large household items.

No fridges or freezers;

Please bring green garden waste separately to be composted;

This service is provided for small loads and from domestic properties, so you can use this service to dispose of bulky items not normally collected with household waste;

No commercial refuse or hazardous waste such as asbestos, batteries, liquids, gas bottles;

No large loads please.

No electrical goods.

No items which can be recycled through kerbside collections
