Dying Matters National Awareness Week 8 – 14 May 2017
As part of this awareness week, representatives from the Hunnaball Family Funeral Group will be at the Boxted Village Hall
on Tuesday 9 May for the weekly coffee Morning from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. They will be there to help and to answer any relevant questions, also there will be a range of helpful literature to take away.
During this week there will be literature in The Hub for people to help themselves to.

Village Hall Management Committee

After a combined total of more than 45 years of voluntary service, the above three members of the Committee wish stand down from July 31 this year.
The Hall is in a strong financial position, but new blood is needed.
For the Hall to continue its successful path the Committee will need a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. The Chair advises and coordinates the Committee and contacts villagers.
The Secretary deals with meetings, minutes and correspondence.
The Treasurer deals with income and expenditure and the annual audit.

Neighbourhood Watch
Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at an address in Keelers Way, Great Horkesley, sometime between 10.30am and 10.45am on April 18.
Burglars smashed a rear patio door to get in and stole a laptop and games console.
Detectives want to speak to a man who was seen in the area at the time. He is described as white, aged in his 50s with grey hair, and of medium to large build. He was about 5ft 6ins tall, wore a blue top and was carrying a bag.
They are also keen to hear from anyone in the area who has CCTV footage, or was driving in the area and has dash cam footage.
