Jayne Tarrant (nee Dingemans)

Jayne, who attended Boxted Playgroup and Boxted Primary School, receiving an award for her product Medpac which she designed as a result of her daughter being diagnosed with a condition that required her to carry medicine with her at all times. Jayne now lives in Suffolk but her parents still live close by.

Forthcoming events at the British Legion, Straight Road Boxted

Children’s Halloween Party: Saturday 31 October 3pm- 5pm. Tickets £3 per child includes entertainment, drink, hotdog and bar of chocolate.

Open day Saturday 7 November – Come and see what the Royal British Legion is all about, see the work of the poppy appeal and share in some free hot pot.

Horse racing and Bingo Night Saturday 21 November from 7 pm. All welcome.

2015 Operation Christmas Child

Last year all the shoe boxes from Boxted and Langham went to Belarus, in Eastern Europe, many to children in orphanages. All donations of boxes will be welcome again this year. Please take them, by November 15 please, to the following drop off points: Jean Berry, 4 Parsonage Cottages, Church Road, Boxted.
