Little Owls Preschool

(Village children who attend the preschool enjoying a photo opportunity whilst taking a break from planting flowers alongside the village hall earlier this year)

The preschool is exceptionally busy this year and places for the remainder of the academic year are very, very limited. We are committed to making sure that children living in Boxted are able to access a preschool place in the village. We take children from the age of 2, and are open Monday to Friday 9.15 to 3.15 during term time. We also have an ‘Early Bird’ session from 8.45 to 9.15. All 3-4 year olds and some 2 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare per week.

If you have a baby or toddler and will want a place in the future, please contact us as soon as possible to put your child on our waiting list so that we can prioritise Boxted children.

Mustard sown after harvest this year as an over-wintering green manure rather than ploughing/cultivating the ground. It allows the worms to work the soil, fixes nitrogen which will eventually be released for the benefit of the next crop and improves soil structure.
