Check your bin days – they might be changing!

New recycling calendars running from 1 June are now live on our website. Many households will have a new collection day from next week, so make sure you double check what’s happening with YOUR collection.

From Monday 1 June how we collect recycling is changing. You will no longer need to separate your paper, card, plastics, tins and cans but can present these all mixed together!

Glass and food waste collections stay the same and should be presented in your green box and food waste caddy as usual.

The long-awaited wheeled bin roll-out has also begun! If you have already received your new mixed recycling wheeled bin you can put your paper, card, plastics, tins and cans in there straight away. For other households your wheeled bin delivery may be some months away. You can present your mixed recycling in your existing clear bags until it is delivered.

If you’re still sorting your recycling, don’t worry – we’ll still collect it.
