    Boxted Art and Craft Club.

    Wednesday 17 October 2 – 4 pm in the village hall.

    There are currently no planned talks/workshops organised for this term. Instead, we hope members will share their skills and maybe some members want to embark on a new hobby – help will be on hand! An ideal opportunity to relax with good conversation, some craft work, and a cup of tea and cake.

    We hope you will join us, you will be made very welcome.

    We meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month in the village hall from 2 – 4 pm. Further details: 01206 271860

    Boxted Methodist Silver Band

    are having a quiz night on Saturday 20 October in Boxted Village Hall 7.15 for 7.30 start. Tickets £5 per person up to eight in a team. Nibbles included but bring your own drinks. Tickets can be reserved from Liz 01206271511 or band members.

    Armistice Century Concert

    at St. Peter’s Church, Boxted

    A Boxted community event to mark the end of WW1
    with music, poetry, drama and much more, involving:

    Boxted Methodist Silver Band, Boxted Amateur Players,
    Boxted branch of The Royal British Legion
    and other local residents.

    Prizegiving to winners of “Boxted in 100 years time” competition by pupils of Boxted St. Peter’s CEVC School.

    Tickets £10 including interval refreshments.

    Proceeds shared between St. Peter’s Tower Repair Fund and Contact Stress (Veterans Mental Health Charity).

    Dog Owners

    Pictured above is a photo of dog faeces on a child’s shoe. The faeces was walked in inadvertently last Friday whilst on King George playing field.

    There are four dog bins on the field. PLEASE pick up after your dog. If you let it off the lead are you sure you can keep an eye on what they are doing?
