    Newsletter distribution in north Langham

There is a pressing need for a distributor(s) to take the parish newsletter to homes in Langham along the Dedham Road and points north. Unless somebody is found, it is likely that distribution in this area will shortly cease.

If you can help, please contact Andrew Stacey on 01206 272806 or email a.m.stacey
Delivery of the newsletter would be speeded up in both Boxted and Langham if some of the rounds were shortened. This can only be done if the number of volunteers making the house-to-house deliveries is increased.

Can you offer your help? Please contact Ann Barnard on 01206 272349 for Boxted distribution or Andrew Stacey on 01206 272806 for Langham distribution.

    Thank you!.

    Faeces of the Village

This ‘fresh’ dog excrement was on the grass verge on the edge of Boxted Playing Field Car Park at 9.15 am on Tuesday 30 April.

It could possibly be from two dogs, one large and one smaller, owned by the same person and exercised together.

If anyone has any information would they please contact, in confidence, the parish clerk, Karen Thompson on boxtedparishcouncil or Colchester Borough Council’s Dog Warden on https://www.colchester.gov.uk/info/cbc-article/?catid=dogs&id=KA-01922

Part of responsible dog ownership means cleaning up after your four-legged friend. Please help to keep our village clean so that we can all enjoy the lovely countryside we have. Use the red dog poo bins provided or take the offending objects home and dispose.
