Reuse, Recycle, Rehome – Boxted
Saturday 18 June

Boxted Biodiversity and Sustainability Group introduce the concept of Boxted Reuse, Recycle and Rehome Saturdays. Following the success of similar projects in some local village communities we consider this to be a great way to reduce landfill and also to reduce unnecessary purchases.
We would like to encourage residents to place items they wish to offer free of charge outside their properties on a certain Saturday each the month from 10am. This could be brick-brac, toys, books, plants, fruit and veg as a few examples.
Please clear offerings away by mid afternoon to ensure our village remains tidy.
Hopefully we will see crockery cherished by a new owner, old vinyl bringing music to new ears, toys and games enjoyed again and old football boots ready to be brushed off for the next season.
We can think of no better time to start than as soon as possible, so we propose the first R-R-R Saturday to be on the 18th June.
Take the opportunity to see what your neighbours have to offer, meet some new Boxted residents and find yourself something new to find a place in your home.
Watch this space for more information as a social media page will be set up shortly.
