    Saturday 10 February, 3pm
    St Peter’s Church

    Church Services

    Sunday 11 February

9.30 am Holy Communion, St Peter’s Boxted

    Ash Wednesday, February 14

10 am Holy Communion, St Mary’s Langham

On the first Sunday in Boxted and the third Sunday in Langham there will be a shortened spoken Communion service at 9.30 am followed by refreshments and then will follow a more informal Morning Worship service at 10.30 am for those who wish to stay on or join later.

The aim of the change is to give the rector time to spend with the congregation during the coffee break before having to leave to conduct a service at a different church.

    Local Driver Needed
    Private Driver Service

I am looking for someone local to Boxted who could provide a driver service on an ad hoc basis.

I travel to/from a number of work events, as well as some social events, and am looking for someone with a decent level of driving experience that could provide this service (using my car).

Please contact my assistant Sophie Harland at  sophieoliviaharland@gmail.com  or on 07736306525 for more information.

    Michael Newman

The funeral took place recently at St Peter’s Church, Boxted of Michael Newman, long time resident of Boxted.

Michael lived in the village all his married life and helped out in the community in his own quiet way.

Over the years he was involved in the village church, the village hall and the Sports and Social club (now the Community Hub).
