On 22 April, Langham and Boxted’s Borough Councillor, Nigel Chapman, will be undertaking a 14 + mile walk across our Rural North Ward along the beautiful Stour Valley from Bures to Dedham.
He will be joining the Mayor of Colchester, Cllr Julie Young; her Escort, Cllr Tim Young; fellow ward councillors, Peter Chillingworth and Christopher Arnold; and others.
This is in aid of the Mayor’s charities (Beacon Housea, Open Road, Rob George Foundation, Signpost and The Invicta Foundation) and also the Stour Valley Environment Fund (administered by the Essex Community Foundation) which Nigel set up as chairman of the Joint Advisory Committee of the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty & Stour Valley Project.
