Boxted Bridge update
£500k spent on Boxted bridge proposals
New figures from Essex Highways, obtained through a Freedom of Information request by the East Anglian Daily Times, reveal £500,061.47 has now been spent on subcontract and professional fees since the 2017/18 financial year.
The bridge could have been repaired by now for £450,000 to £500,000 and traffic up and running again. CLICK HERE or more information on the Save Our Bridge campaign.

Our Boxted Evergreen Club meet in the village hall every four weeks from 2.00pm to 3.30pm. Anyone wishing to come along would be given a warm welcome. Our members are always asked for their suggestions before our yearly entertainment programme is arranged, so we do try our best to cater for everyone.
