Calling all singers …
Thursday 19 December – Rehearsal
Whether you can hit all the right notes … or not, we would love you to come and join our singing group for the Christmas carol service this year.
Rehearsals will be taking place at 6.30pm in St Peter’s Church on Thursday 19 December
No auditions, just lots of fun and laughter!

Saying goodbye to Faces of the Village
Roger Hobday
Very sadly, Roger died recently of a heart attack.
Roger was involved with the 2nd Langham Scout Group for many years right up until his untimely death.
He will especially be remembered fondly by the countless youngsters who progressed through the Scout Group and enjoyed his mentoring and his companionship.
Roger’s funeral will be held at St Mary’s Church, Langham on 2 January at 1 pm.

Our Boxted Evergreen Club meet in the village hall every four weeks from 2.00pm to 3.30pm. Anyone wishing to come along would be given a warm welcome. Our members are always asked for their suggestions before our yearly entertainment programme is arranged, so we do try our best to cater for everyone. Langham Community Shop now has leaflets regarding National Grid’s Norwich to Tilbury pylon/cables plan. If you would like to object to their proposals, please pick up and complete the forms, which can be left at the Shop to be sent to the Secretary of State.
