Save Our Bridge Campaign

We have over 8,000 signatures! Let’s get to 10,000.

We believe the bridge can be repaired  and saved for the community and should not be replaced with a wider uglier version which would mean that more HGVs use this route through the Dedham Vale National Landscape.

Please sign the petition to save Boxted Bridge HERE

St Peter’s Churchyard Working Party

Many thanks to all those who participated on Saturday morning 25th November.

Excellent progress was made clearing the substantial weed growth from about a third of the newly planted North boundary hedge. Despite the good weather it was hard work!

The next session will be on Saturday 16th December at 10am. The focus of this session will again be clearing the weeds from the new hedge and hopefully some strimming along both the north and east boundaries.

Men with strimmers required!
